Vorontsova Academy / Evelina Vorontsova

Vorontsova Academy is founded by Evelina Vorontsova, Russian masterpianist of critical acclaim. Its aim is to provide high intensity knowledge transfer of the russian piano school method. Vorontsova Academy is the international initiative of Pianoschool Vorontsova which operates from Amsterdam, Europe.

Evelina Vorontsova is a prize winner of the International Liszt Competition (Utrecht), the International Rachmaninov Competition (Moscow), the International Competition for Piano and Orchestra (Cantu), among others. She performed as a soloist with Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Lev Markiz, Jan Stulen, Stewart Robertson and Alexander Wakulsky.

Evelina Vorontsova graduated cum laude at the Central Music School and the graduate programme (Gold Medal) and post-graduate programme of the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory (prof. Mikhail Voskresensky). She also graduated at the Conservatory of Amsterdam (prof. Jan Wijn).

Evelina Vorontsova gave her first tv performance at the age of 11 when she played Bach's Fourth Piano Concerto at the Russian national TV. Since then she has played more than 1000 concerts worldwide including famous stages such as the Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Teatro Comunale (Bologna), Doelen (Rotterdam) and Suginami Koukaidou Hall (Tokyo). Two albums received excellent international reviews, her latest album RACHMANINOFF (2016) was awarded 5 out of 5 stars in International Piano.
